Fuller-Bessay Dune Shack
16" x 20"
oil on canvas
After a ten
year hiatus, I decided to reacquaint myself with oil painting. I'm inspired by the dune shacks that dot Provincetown's seashore. They are beautiful, diverse structures each with their own unique history. The fact that so many of them are still standing after all these years is endlessly fascinating to me, and it doesn't hurt that their location on the national seashore is one of the most beautiful landscapes in the United States.
